In no way this stub comes close to a fair portrait of the man LRH. He wasn't always acting like a wise man, but he sure was a genius in developing a useful technique to resolve the biggest enigmas of the human mind.

By keeping to the Technology of Scientology and Dianetics - and not to that what RTC or the so called Church CoS wants - one can (!) get free of suffering from existence and one can gain various abilities.

It is a sad and paradox matter that LRH lied a lot about his life prior to around 1948. And even later he didn't keep strictly to the truth but still developed a perfectly workable auditing technology to gain spiritual abilities and freedom.

Best is to read the reports of the time witnesses who worked with him: Ken Urquhart, David Mayo, Otto J. Roos, ..., this gives a vertical picture of the man LRH. Bruno_Milazzo 23:00, 4 Dec 2006 (UTC)
