One of the CofS's "front groups", part of ABLE. The basic idea is to put a current drug addict in a suppportive environment, get him cold turkey off whatever drugs he is taking, the horror softened a bit by vitamins, food, support etc., then have him do the Purification Rundown and basic courses including TRs and ethics/integrity basics. In theory there's nothing too much wrong with that, but Google will reveal the practice.

Actual statistics of Narconon's effectiveness, as distinct from the PR, are hard to find.
