DIANETICS
Through being guided by simple communication a person’s attention can be directed to the mental recordings of past unpleasant experiences. He is then directed to re-experience those events and to confront whatever is there. By scanning through the incident repeatedly the inherent charge in the incident is erased and considerable relief is experienced, including a resurgence in the person’s life energy.
This is Dianetics, which name comes from the Greek words DIA, meaning 'through' and NOUS meaning 'Mind'. (LS)
