Critic

A critic is someone who is openly critical of the CofS. Usually the term is used to mean someone who is also critical of the Tech. Some of the more well-known critical forums are the Usenet group alt.religion.scientology or a.r.s, and the discussion board at the Operation Clambake website.

It is convenient, although an oversimplification, to broadly look at things like this:

• Churchie - Loves the Church and loves the Tech.
• Freezoner - Hates the Church and loves the Tech.
• Critic - Hates the Church and hates the Tech.
• Int Mgmt - Loves the Church and hates the Tech.

Note that none of these terms are intended to be derogatory, merely descriptive. Except maybe the last one.

It is anticipated that contributors to Scienowiki will broadly fall into the categories of churchies and ex-churchies, freezoners, Scientologists generally. A critic is not likely to feel at home here, nor is anyone in Int Mgmt.
